Do You Believe in Synchronicity?

I’m a firm believer in synchronicity.  This is a term coined by Carl Yung, it  means a meaningful coincidence that has a low probability of being a random or chance event.  A couple of days ago I was speaking to a magazine editor who asked me if I had heard of the property magazine Aqar.  I told him I had never heard of  it (we have LOTS of magazines in Bahrain now).  A day later the magazine shows up on my door step!  It was being distributed in our area.  I flip through the pages and see a photo of an old friend.  Good for him I thought, he seems to be doing well for himself.  The next day I get an email from him asking me to speak at an event, how interesting!

A coincidence?  Yes, but a meaningful one.  That is synchronicity.
